We think we have time
When there was never a promise
yet we see time as forever
enough to continue to
do what’s been done
continue to believe
that rehearsal is one
way to do it right next time.
Rush to and fro
believing in control
while
we deceive us/you/me.
justifying the reality
we want to see
Choosing to let go
of those who love
for what we think is better.
It’s never. At least rarely ever
not the same as before
yet we choose to ignore…
Our actions define us
speaking loud and clear.
if we could just hear. Ourselves.
Hindsight should make us walk backwards.
Being the only time we see clearly.

Time tips the scale
planned outcomes fail.
Destiny derails
Does it get our attention?
Speaking from the third dimension?
When there was never a promise
yet, in what is, we can realize
what’s really important
in and about your/my life.
and fight for it.
Lest at our demise
we finally realize
as a lone tear drops from mind’s eye
what we missed.
It’s never too late to realize what’s important in your life and fight for it.

The purpose of our classroom service is to diversely strengthen the curriculum and needed pedagogy of licensed and pre-service teachers. This builds a foundation of superior education through understanding culturally responsive curriculums direct benefit from the content of African American Registry.
Street Team programs represent a crucial part of our goal of ‘Curriculum Reform and Giving Youth a Guided Voice’. We also require College students and/or community members to learn how to implement and carry on our program. That way we instill buy-in for each community to invest in themselves.
