Street Team International (STI) is our virtual study-abroad program. It engages participants to exchange knowledge and promotes intercultural dialogue through African and African diaspora experiences. We also explore civic engagement and develop life and leadership skills through an anti-racism curriculum and media production. For 2023, Ghana, Africa, is our location, and our theme is ‘Pan Africanism in the 21st Century.’

STI Ghana instructs with two PowerPoints, with an introduction to the home country, geographic and demographic information, and critical language phrases. Below the PowerPoints on this page are two columns examining the theme from four views. They are an administrative elder, an academic, and two youths (post-secondary and high school).

Street Team International’s flexibility accommodates broad audiences. Participants can visit more countries in our virtual study-abroad library as we expand. In the near future, Brazil 🇧🇷, Ireland 🇮🇪, and Israel 🇮🇱 will be included so participants can virtually visit more Africana destinations across the globe.
